Life Rocks!

The concept of LifeRocks came about during an early coaching session when I realised that I wanted to make a website not only to advertise myself as a coach but also to explain what Coaching is about.

I call this website “LifeRocks” because I truly believe that it does. Through becoming a coach I realised something within myself and I am following my dreams, honoring my values and being authentic. When this shift occurs, when you are doing something you are passionate about you resonate energy, become more confident and feel generally happy.

I used to think that happiness was something unattainable, moments of joy linked together with longer moments of non joy. I now know that moments of joy can be hours, days and weeks long while moments of non joy are now fleeting and sporadic. I smile most of the time and feel a deep inner peace which I could never claim in the past.

There is a shift spiritually too. I read recently that when you are doing your life's passion the universe will conspire to assist you, but when you align your intentions to the cosmic intent i.e. the universe's passion, you create harmony and the realisation of your intent. Deepak said it better than me however I think you get the gist.

These are difficult times we live in. Not only have we become disconnected with belief systems and families who used to be our means of support, we are also facing an economic crisis too. For many people, this may leave them suddenly without a job, in a job they don’t like but are afraid to leave, or strapped by a feeling of being on a treadmill, without direction. Work and financial worries also take a toll on those closest to us.

A friend of mine was made redundant (from a job he hated) and was feeling a little depressed. My reaction was “oh fantastic, what a great opportunity to find something that you do really like doing”. This surprised my friend who suddenly started seeing the gift in what had happened and opened his mind to all sorts of alternatives.

Coaching helps people define their choices and then explores those choices to find the one that fits. Coaches care about their clients and hold them accountable to action. Coaches listen carefully to what is being said and always tell the truth. With coaching you can find your life's mission, purpose and specific agenda.

I hope that you find inspiration within this website and decide to try life coaching for your-self. Whatever you decide to do, I hope that you choose to MAKE A DIFFERENCE to your life and to the lives of others around you, and hopefully then you will agree with me that life really does rock.
